Your session can include one option or we can include some of each. Below, the featured galleries will give you a clear idea of my style of photography, editing, consistency, and what you can expect from a single session!
Featured Newborn Photography Sessions in Paris, ontario!
Pink is the most commonly requested colour for baby girls. For this session, however, we included a variety of colours, including navy blue which is rarely chosen but looks so stunning!
Things to consider when choosing colours to have included in your session: Your baby's skin tone, colours of his or her nursery (or wherever you may want to display your images), your favourite colours!
Most babies prefer a good, cozy swaddle but some prefer freedom to explore their movements. Some sleep through any noise, while others wake up at the tiniest little peep. Each baby has their own unique preferences.
A huge part of my job making sure your precious babe is safe and comfortable. This little miss was happiest either wrapped up or on her tummy!

This little cutie's big brother had mainly greens in his studio newborn gallery, so mama wanted to change it up this time. Perhaps you've just delivered or maybe you are meeting her for the first time as her chosen mama. Regardless of the way your lives have come together, this is one of life's most incredible experiences and is truly a moment you will never forget.
As you'll be reminded repeatedly, they grow so fast! (It's a true story, they change overnight, I swear!) As you memorize your sweet babe's unique little features and get to know this tiny human and her ever-changing personality, capturing this moment in time is something you'll cherish forever.

It all begins with a bit of communication. Filling out the Contact Form is a very important part of the process. It may sound silly, but getting to know each other and making sure that your vision & expectations and my style & process are a good fit is the foundation to an exceptional experience for both of us!
Once we have this initial communication established, I will mark your due date in my calendar. And then we wait for your little bundle of joy to arrive!

Congratulations Mama!! Enjoy all those beautiful first moments together, try to get some rest, and when you get a chance, let me know your exciting news!
The next step is booking your session date. The most ideal time to photograph newborns is between 7 and 21 days new. Why? Because they are still super sleepy, and very flexible. Contacting me within the first few days of baby's arrival will get your exact session date secured on my calendar. All sessions are scheduled for 10am on weekdays.
This is when we get to plan those special details. I'll send you a questionnaire about the specifics you want included in your session to get an idea of what you want. Colours, a special story, fine art images, etc. I spend hours getting your unique session ready for you!
I will then let you know what to expect for your Session Day. Where to go, what to bring, and how to prepare. The best way to get all this info to you is through a videocall. I will also send you everything in writing, just in case you need it. And I'm always here to answer any questions you may have!
3. All The Details
I want this day to be as stress-free as possible for you! Following my very simple Prep Guide will set a good foundation for the day. When you arrive at the studio, I will take your little one and get started. You get to sit back and relax!
Newborn Sessions usually take between two and three hours. I follow your baby's lead and allow plenty of time for feeding and changing. Most of our time together will be spent getting your babe settled into a good sleep so I can pose him into those sweet positions for his photos.
4. Session day!
About three weeks after your session, I will send you your images through an online proofing gallery. This is where you will be able to select your favourite images and decide how you would like them printed.
A variety of carefully selected albums, wall art, and prints from professional photo labs are available to you, as well as, digital packages. As with the entire process up until this point, I am hear to answer any questions you have. We can even do this part together if you like!

A deposit is collected upon booking and the remainder is due on your session date. A variety of 'Collections' are available for you to choose from. Collections include digital image options, as well as, printed product perks. Printed products are offered as a la carte options so you can choose exactly what you would like. From the first moment that we arrived at the studio we felt so welcomed and could tell that it was going to be a fantastic experience. (Katrina) knew exactly how to handle our baby and was so good and patient with her. She was basically a baby whisperer!
I did not feel rushed at all even when our baby wanted to nurse partway through the session. In fact, Katrina made me feel so welcome and encouraged us to take our time and to not rush and you could tell that she really meant it. She really cares about her clients and it is clear that she wants the experience to be great for the family.
